A digital standard is a set of guidelines for how digital-age public services should be designed and developed. There are currently three categories:
Service standards
- guidelines or rules for the design of public-facing servicesAPI standards
- guidelines or rules of the development of APIsCode standards
- guidelines or rules of the writing, testing and management of software codeData standards
- guidelines or rules of the management and publication of dataAutomated decisions abd AI standards
- guidelines or rules related to the use of automated decisions in public servicesStandards must be in active use by either multiple government agencies (i.e. the whole of a city or central government use the same standard) or multiple governments. Please do not submit standards for individual agencies.
The OrganisationName
field should be the name of the organisation that the design system is used across, not the name of the organisation responsible for its maintenance (although feel free to include that in the Notes
field).
